What Does this Warranty Cover?
The Kidde branded alkaline batteries included in this package will provide power to either a Kidde branded smoke or carbon monoxide alarm for a period of time no less than 2 years 

What Does this Warranty Not Cover?
This warranty does not include Kidde combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarms.

What is the Period of Coverage?
Two (2) years from date of installation of the batteries in a Kidde branded smoke or carbon monoxide alarm

What Will We Do to Correct Problems?
Provide replacement batteries for the Kidde alarm free of charge.

What Will We Not Do?
This guarantee is limited to the provision of replacement batteries for the Kidde alarm and excludes any labor costs, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages based on negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

How Do I Make a Warranty Claim?

The claim must include the original UPC and cash register receipt otherwise the claim will not be honored. Multiple submissions will not be acknowledged or returned.

What Must You Do To Keep the Warranty in Effect?
The batteries must be installed in the Kidde alarm within one year of purchase of the batteries. The Kidde alarm must be used in a manner consistent with Kidde’s User Guide. The batteries must remain installed in the Kidde alarm at all times during the 2 year period and must not have been previously used to power any other device.

How Does State Law Relate to this Warranty?
This guarantee/warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
