How Wireless Smoke Alarms Work
Wireless smoke alarms communicate via radio frequency. They have a signal unique to the model that will wirelessly connect with others in the same model series.
Frequency Band and Dip Switches
For the alarms RF-SM-ACDC and RF-SM-DC, we have our own frequency band of 434.3. Each wireless alarm has dip switches on the back of the unit. When all switches are on the same setting, all smoke alarms will sound when the Test/Reset button is pushed.
