On June 9, Kidde participated in the 2026 Celebration of Service to America Awards in Washington, D.C., and was recognized with the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation (NABLF) Corporate Leadership Award, an honor presented each year to a company outside the broadcast industry for outstanding public service and social responsibility.
President of Global Residential Fire & Safety, Isis Wu, accepted the award on stage, joined by members of the Kidde team.
The prestigious honor recognizes Kidde’s commitment to helping keep people safe through innovative smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, home safety education and millions of dollars in alarm donations via Cause For Alarm, and a new original TV series called Home For Good, co-produced by Hearst Media Production Group, Epic Entertainment and Media Group and sponsored by Kidde.
The series which launched in April 2026 weekend mornings on ABC stations nationwide is a home renovation show dedicated to honoring America’s everyday heroes – from first responders and military veterans to community champions. In addition to transformational renovations, the series also provides practical fire and CO safety education tips.
A huge congratulations and thank-you to everyone who helped make this honor possible, including Ivanette Bonilla, Matthew Heizman, Stephanie Berzinski, Jason Kohm, Matt Whitmer, and David Martin.
