I'm receiving notifications with "Smoke detected by an unknown device". What does that mean?

Your Kidde Smart smoke alarm has the ability to interconnect with other alarms in your home. When one alarm detects smoke, all alarms will sound.

If you see "Unknown Device," it means a non-Kidde smoke alarm is also active. Kidde app can only identify Kidde Smart alarms.
