I don't believe the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) readings displayed in the app, is there a way to validate that the IAQ sensor is working?

If IAQ readings are stagnant for a longer period, and/or you want to ensure that the IAQ sensor is working:

  1. Double check that the Kidde device is connected to the internet. Note: IAQ functionality is not available if the device loses internet connectivity.
  2. Expose the alarm to any household cleaning liquid, air freshener or sanitizer and verify if the sensor is reacting.
