The Kidde 5 Year Smoke Alarm is a battery-operated optical smoke detector that provides 5-year protection. You can easily install it in most locations around your home, but it’s best suited for bedrooms and living areas.
In the event of smoke detection, the product will activate by sounding an alarm. It also features a hush control button for you to silence nuisance alarms temporarily.
This alarm provides an audible end-of-life notification and a visual indication that the alarm is due to run out via a flashing LED for 30 days.
