The Kidde Interconnectable Optical Smoke Alarm with Back-up Battery is a mains-powered optical smoke detector with a user-replaceable 9V alkaline battery.

Part of our Firex range, you can link this product with up to 23 other Kidde mains powered alarms. If one alarm is activated, all other connected alarms will sound. This product is suitable for most locations within your home, except in the kitchen, where we recommend a Firex Heat Alarm.

This mains-powered unit requires installation by a qualified electrician and complies with UK Building Regulations for new housing and associated standards (Grade D2 BS 5839, Part 6).
