You may have noticed that we have made a few changes to our look. Why the change? Read on to find out more about how we have evolved and what’s new.
We are incredibly proud of our rich heritage, having spent over 100 years protecting people and property, however we are always looking ahead and believe that it is important to adapt and evolve with the changing times. A such, we felt that it was time to refresh our brand to better represent who we are and what we stand for.
Our new look marks a new chapter for our business. It comes at a time when we have also invested in our portfolio, introducing additional life safety products that are market leading in terms of design and performance.
A new logo
The new look sees Kidde move away from using the traditional shield logo to one that now represents a home, by using the ‘K’ in the Kidde name as a house icon. This communicates Kidde’s central role in providing strength and security in the home.
The Power to Protect
We have also introduced a new strapline: ‘The Power to Protect’. Inspired by feedback from our consumers, this message reflects the power Kidde puts in the hands of users to protect the moments they hold dear and underpins our commitment to keeping the world a safer place.
You will also notice that we have refreshed our colour palette, using a deep, rich red balanced with neutral tones. The updated colour system has been built to communicate our traditional heritage and underpin the premium quality of our products.
An evolving portfolio
Furthermore, as part of the changes, we have also streamlined our portfolio, and this includes a move which will mean the FIREX brand name – a go-to for many – will cease to exist. Crucially, the same high quality and reliable products will remain available, but simply rebranded and repackaged as Kidde.
What does this mean?
Our customers will have started to see the roll-out of our new logo on packaging hitting the merchant and wholesaler shelves earlier this year with the launch of our new Kidde Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Monitor .
While we may look a little different, we are the same company you trust and the same people delivering the level of service and range of quality products that you have come to expect from us. Our core values remain integral to who we are and every decision we make.
